How to connect
- Place an assembling machine with inserters: storage → assembler → storage.
- Green wire: storage (a chest reading its contents, or a roboport) → T input (top-left combinator, bottom end).
- Red wire: SEL output (top-right combinator, top end) → assembler. Enable Set recipe on the assembler.
- Production starts at step 1 immediately. The panel shows the current step.
- To restart, briefly switch the constant combinator R on, then off.
Each threshold is the quantity in storage. Existing stock counts, and satisfied steps are skipped. Recipe changes usually cause 1–2 extra production cycles, so intermediate targets include a small buffer and the plan shows recommended stock for raw materials. The minimum alone may leave the machine waiting for more materials. The buffer is tuned for assembling machine 2 or 3 without speed modules, with a fast output inserter. A faster assembler or slower output can consume more intermediates and stall the sequence. Toggle reset (R) to produce the missing intermediates again.
